Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to condemn the recent terror attack in France. The tweet was in response to a knife attack in the southern French city of Nice on Thursday that killed three people and injured many more.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted from his personal Twitter handle, stating that he strongly condemns the recent terrorist attacks in France, including Nice's heinous attack inside a church. And he sent his most deep and heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and the people of France, saying that India will stand with France in the fight against terrorism.
French President Emmanuel Macron in his statements towards the muslim inhabitants of France, stated that he would listen their anger, but won't accept violence.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) issued a statement saying that they strongly deplore the personal attacks and unacceptable language on President Emmanuel Macron in violation of international discourse's most basic standards.
Responding to the statement by The Ministry of External Affairs, The French Ambassador thanked the @MEAIndia by stating that France and India can always count on each other for fighting against terrorism.
The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, however opposed the French President Macron's remarks. He further issued a statement defending the cartoons of Prophet Muhammed, which was also a cause for the death of French teacher Samuel Paty on 16th October. He also said that the Islam was religion in "crisis".
